In Business Studies, students participate in this competition either as an individual or in a group. In both categories students from The Hutchins School were declared State winners.
The Junior Young Physicists Tournament (JYPT) is a competition in which teams of Year 10 students investigate and present solutions to complex physics problems.

On Sunday 19 July seventeen members of the Physics class travelled to Melbourne to visit the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), the University of Melbourne and the CSIRO’s Australian Synchrotron facility in order to gain a better understanding of Physics in industry and research.
Unless the weather forecast further deteriorates, the School will be open tomorrow (Monday) and will conduct a modified program if student and staff attendance is low.
The Hutchins School Old Boys’ Association (HSOBA) continued the tradition of honouring an outstanding Old Boy by unveiling the 2015 Hutchins Lion at the Anniversary Lunch held 5 August 2015.
