’57 Leavers celebrating 60 year reunion
On Friday we were honoured to receive a visit from a group of our 1957 leavers. 19 leavers and 14 of their partners organised a weekend to celebrate their 60 year reunion which included a visit to the school.
After some refreshments and a tour of the school the group joined Year 6 and 8 students to watch some archival footage which included some scenes from their time at Hutchins during the Macquarie Street years.
Some of our Old Boys then relayed stories and anecdotes from their time at school. Humorous tales and words of advice about making the most of your opportunities were shared with our current students.
It was wonderful to listen and talk to these Old Boys who are so proud of their old school. We were thrilled to share the school of today with them.
