The Hutchins School welcomes new Deputy Headmaster and Chaplain
In a service held at St David’s Cathedral on Tuesday 5 April 2016, Dr Adam Forsyth was commissioned as the 11th Deputy Headmaster of The Hutchins School and The Reverend Dr Lee Weissel was commissioned as The Hutchins School Chaplain. The Bishop of Tasmania, Bishop Condie and the Dean of Hobart, The Very Reverend Richard Humphrey conducted the service which was attended by members of The Hutchins School community.
Headmaster, Mr Warwick Dean welcomed Dr Forsyth and his family to The Hutchins School community. Dr Forsyth has most recently held positions as the Head of Senior School at St Peters Lutheran College in Brisbane and Director of Boarding and Senior Housemaster at Brisbane Boys’ College. Dr Forsyth is married to Megan and they have a daughter Rosie and two sons Alec and Selwyn who we also welcome to The Hutchins School Community.
The Reverend Dr Lee Weissel was commissioned as the School Chaplain at this evening service. Bishop Condie presented the licence to The Reverend Dr Lee Weissel who joins us from the Wagga Wagga Christian College where he held the position of Head of Science and Technology Faculty. We also welcome the Weissel family to The Hutchins School Community. The Reverend Dr Lee Weissel is married to Raelene and they have four daughters, Aurora, Elle, Skylah and Sienna.
