Summer Camp in Xi’an
During the Term 2 holidays, Oscar Chau (Year 12) and Ayden Cousins (Year 11) participated in a two-week international summer camp at the Northeastern Polytechnical University, in the ancient Chinese city of Xi’an.
Not only did the boys perfect their Mandarin in one of the heartlands of Chinese civilisation, they were also offered incredible opportunities to attend a series of STEM workshops including robotics demonstration and aeromodelling competition. The boys returned home with some fond memories of China and friendships formed with young people from over ten different countries.
Both boys are highly commended for their enthusiasm and leadership in our cultural exchanges with partner institutions in China. Tai Bang le (awesome)!
