Rugby Australia’s Gold Blooded Tour lands at Hutchins!
The Rugby Australia Gold Blooded Tour landed at The Hutchins School yesterday for the final stop of their Tasmanian leg of the trip around Australia.
Some of our Junior boys were privileged enough to have training session run by Steve Kefu and Morgan Turinui. They were also lucky enough to get photos and signatures, as well as their hands on the Webb Ellis Cup (Rugby World Cup) which was won by the Wallabies at the 1999 Rugby World Cup.
Senior boys were given the opportunity to attend a Q&A session in the Conference Centre with Steve Kefu, Morgan Turinui and Luke Burgess, where they learnt more about these Classic Wallabies’ careers, as well as receiving some excellent professional advice.
Thank you to Rugby Australia for running this amazing tour, Steve, Morgan and Luke for being such excellent guests, and Izzy, Jess and Marty (accompanying staff) for all of their hard work behind the scenes.
