Middle School science fun with Collegiate
On Friday 6 May we had a Science morning in conjunction with Collegiate. Our Year 7 boys travelled to Collegiate to be hosted by their Year 7 girls and our Year 8 boys remained in our Middle School to welcome the Year 8 Collegiate girls.
In both venues the students conducted or participated in various Science experiments. This was a great example of learning through teaching and learning from your peers. We had recess and lunch together and this allowed the boys and girls to socialise informally. Our Year 8 event finished with a most entertaining quiz.
The enthusiasm, thoughtful participation and natural good humour of all the students involved made this a very pleasant event for the supervising staff as well.
