Magenta & Blacker 2019 – what a night!
Magenta & Blacker was conceived five years ago when members of the Visual and Performing Arts Faculty spent time in Adelaide for the annual Fringe Festival. Being immersed in the arts atmosphere, we decided that we could try and present our own outdoor arts evening featuring art, drama and lighting effects.
This year was our third Magenta & Blacker and it evolved and grew again! What an amazing night it turned out to be and the weather was finally fantastic after a very stormy week. The night showcased art from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 10, SPA Drama and SPA Music and selected Year 7 and 8 drama performances.
Magenta & Blacker exceeded all expectations this year with nearly 1,800 people enjoying the festivities. It was a spectacular showcase of the talent, dedication and inspiration the Visual and Performing Arts staff provide our boys.
A huge event like this doesn’t happen without a massive team working together. It was a night for our community to celebrate our vision and showcase the talents of our students across our faculty and SPA program.
We hope you enjoyed Magenta & Blacker 2019.
