Hutchins wins the Head of the River for the 4th consecutive year
The SATIS Head of the River rowing regatta was a great success for The Hutchins School. Our boys excelled in all age groups with many great races and crews achieving podium finishes. The U13 boys won their quad sculls, and the U14 boys had a win in the double sculls. The U15s missed first place by less than a second in their quad sculls race and despite fighting hard, the U16 boys lost their eights race to Scotch Oakburn College by a similar margin. The Open squad was dominant, taking out the First and Second Fours and the prestigious First VIII race to complete the day. Hutchins collected the Senior and Boys Aggregate Shields. Congratulations to all of our rowers and families on a successful season.
