Hutchins scoops up awards at the Tasmanian Science Talent Search
The Hutchins School congratulates the following award winners, presented with their awards in March 2013, following 2012 submissions to the Tasmanian Science Talent Search.
James Burgess (Year 11) – Investigating the water quality in the Derwent upstream and downstream from storm water outlets.
- Veolia Environmental Services Award for the best environmental project from a southern school

Johannes Peters (Year 11) – Investigating the effect of distance and temperature on the magnetic field strength and the pulling force of magnets.
