Headmaster Mr Warwick Dean announces retirement
It was announced today that our Headmaster, Mr Warwick Dean, has indicated his desire to retire and therefore resign as Headmaster of The Hutchins School, effective 31 December 2016.
In a Special Communique published today Chairperson of the Board, Professor Marcus Haward thanked Mr Dean for his exemplary service to the School community over the past nine and a half years, highlighting in particular his work in providing a framework for The Hutchins School to ‘Build Good Men’.
Professor Haward said that ‘Mr Dean’s leadership has seen The Hutchins School grow and develop, taking its place in the top echelon of schools for boys in the nation. Mr Dean’s commitment to a quality education for all the boys of The Hutchins School is a powerful legacy’.
The Board of The Hutchins School has commenced a process to select and appoint the 19th Headmaster of The Hutchins School.
We as a school community will have specific opportunities to thank and publically recognise Mr Dean for his work and achievements during the remainder of 2016.
