Combined concert delights audience
It’s not often the residents of Hobart get the opportunity to experience a high quality musical event featuring pieces which span centuries and traverse an array of genres. As such, it was an excited audience of around 500 which gathered at St David’s Cathedral to attend St Michael’s Collegiate School and The Hutchins School’s Combined Concert “Baroque to Jazz” held at the end of Term 2. The audience was rewarded with a platter of musical treats ranging from Baroque to Barbershop. Outstanding acoustics highlighted the outstanding performances of all students. Performances included:
