Congratulations to Mr Wayne Brown, Associate Deputy Headmaster/Director of Staff Performance on recently receiving the ACEL Tasmanian Fellowship Award.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the Magenta & Blacker Art Showcase on Friday evening. The showcase was a culmination of artworks, theatre and music and is the brainchild of the Visual and Performing Arts Faculty who were inspired by a recent trip to the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
The Headmaster’s Assembly held today included the induction of Daniel Croser, Fenn Gardner, Ka Shun (Kason) Cheung, Angus Lane, Henry Moss, Oliver Smith, Russel Taib, James Taranto and James Tudball as prefects for 2016. We wish these students all the very best as they lead and support their fellow students.

On 13 June 2016, Dr Keith Martin-Smith was incredibly fortunate to head off to Queensland to board a boat bound for the islands of the Coral Sea. Some 450km from land, far beyond the Great Barrier Reef, this collection of tiny islands and reefs was the site for one of this year’s Bush Blitz TeachLive! expeditions.
To celebrate the opening of the recently extended Stephens Library and Junior School classrooms and to officially farewell Dr Jill Abell, Director of Information Services and ICT a reception was held in the Stephens Library on Wednesday 22 June 2016.
