At the Anniversary Lunch held in Burbury House on Friday 9 August 2019, the Hutchins School Old Boys’ Association unveiled the Hutchins Lion which is a posthumous award given to honour an Old Boy who has excelled in his chosen field of endeavour.
The Anniversary Lunch held on Friday 9 August 2019 included the presentation of The Hutchins Foundation Follow Your Dreams Awards.
On Wednesday 7 August 2019, the Anniversary Service was held at St David’s Cathedral. It was a wonderful celebration where 20 students were presented with Anniversary Ties.
On Tuesday 6 August 2019, boys and staff from the Early Learning Centre and Junior School gathered in the Terence Butler Auditorium for the Anniversary Assembly, celebrating the 173rd birthday of The Hutchins School.

Hutchins Middle and Senior School students performed exceptionally well at the All Schools Cross Country event at Symmons Plains on Tuesday 2 July 2019.
The International Young Physicists’ Tournament (IYPT), sometimes referred to as the ‘Physics World Cup’, is a week-long event in which over 200 pre-university students participate after almost a year of preparation.
