The Hutchins School App
The Hutchins School App is designed for parents and carers as a one-stop shop to access school information. We encourage you to download the free app to access EdSmart notices, timetables, academic feedback, canteen ordering, absence notifications, links to school websites and social media, school contact information, finance details, online payments and much more. The app is available for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
The Hutchins School App is available by searching for ‘The Hutchins School’ on Google Play and the App Store.
Your login for the app is your Rory login for parents/carers.
Assistance for downloading the app or setting up notifications can be accessed via the School’s Helpdesk by emailing helpdesk@hutchins.tas.edu.au.

Alerts for newsletters, due work, due homework, news items, and sport fixtures changes. Alerts can be configured in the Notifications section in Settings. -
The School Calendar will show details of upcoming school events. You can choose a daily, weekly or monthly view. -
Displays school news, which includes school-wide news and news filtered to the relevant sub-school(s). -
Includes due work, your son’s timetable, classes and grades, formative assessment and a link to Seesaw for ELC students (requires a separate login). -
Provides the ability to receive and respond to EdSmart notices. -
Notify the School if your child is absent. -
Contact IT for assistance. -
Provides access for you to view statements and make payments. -
Launches FlexiSchools (canteen ordering platform) to place orders for the ELC, Junior School and Middle School canteens (requires a separate login). -
Contains links to all social media channels, websites, Stand Up, and My Details. -
Provides contact information for Receptions, helpdesk and email addresses. -
View your account settings, adjust notifications, provide feedback and view the Privacy Policy.
